Long Island Medium fans, it’s time!
Theresa Caputo is proving that she has staying power as she returns to the small screen March 8 for the sixth season of the hit show Long Island Medium at 9 pm EST on TLC.
One of the things this show does well is it manages to show you both a snippet of Caputo’s personal life, as well as her ability to communicate with the dead. The importance of that is you can see how psychics and mediums are normal people like you and me. We all have psychic ability if we allow ourselves to get in touch with that side of us.
In this first episode, you’ll find Caputo celebrating her 25-year wedding anniversary, as well as helping clients get closure by getting in touch with their loved ones on the other side.
This season, in addition to doing her work from home, Caputo will be taking her medium capabilities on the road to such cities as Savannah, Richmond and Miami. She also says she will be explaining much of the process behind her abilities. If you’re working on your own skills as a medium there is a lot you can learn just by watching her in action.
In the first episode, Caputo will work with a couple who lost their 4-year-old son, a daughter who gifts her mom a surprise reading and a client who lost someone in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
March 8 also marks the beginning of a new sweepstakes. You and your mom could win “the mother of all readings” if you nominate your mom or a mother figure in the promotion.
Not everyone believes Caputo’s abilities are real. Apparently CNN’s Anderson Cooper has said he is skeptical and shock jock Howard Stern has even reportedly banned her from being on his show. Oh well. She’s not hurting too much for it.
Whether you love Caputo or you hate her, this season promises to bring much for followers of the paranormal to talk about. Check out Psychic Lessons for episode recaps starting this season.
