One thing you’ll learn the more you pay attention to your psychic hunches: you don’t always get everything right. Sometimes you will mistake a thought for a premonition. Other times you may interpret a psychic message wrong. However, a Sylvia Browne coronavirus prediction is proving that sometimes you can predict a situation almost perfectly.
If you’ve followed Sylvia Browne’s career, you know she was one of the most famous psychics of her lifetime. She was often featured on television shows such as the Montel Williams Show and Larry King Live and she toured a lot in between selling many books.
While she was known for her many predictions, she was also known for being wrong about one much-publicized prediction in particular. In 2004, Browne told a woman whose daughter was missing that the daughter had died. The woman believed her and presumably grieved her daughter. The woman then died a couple years later.
A coronavirus prediction stands the test of time
Fast-forward to the year 2013 and the woman was found alive after having been held hostage in Cleveland all those years. You may remember the Amanda Berry story — Berry was the woman who Browne had told her mother she was dead. Browne, herself, died not long after Berry was found.
While she was ridiculed by some for getting that prediction wrong, the Sylvia Browne coronavirus prediction may make up for that in spades.
In her 2008 book titled End of Days, Browne described an outbreak that would cripple the world. She wrote:
“In around 2020 a severe pneumonia-like illness will spread throughout the globe, attacking the lungs and the bronchial tubes and resisting all known treatments. Almost more baffling than the illness itself will be the fact that it will suddenly vanish as quickly as it arrived, attack again ten years later, and then disappear completely.”
This isn’t the only time Browne mentioned a potential plague in 2020. In 2004, in her book Prophecy: What the Future Holds for You, Browne wrote:
“By 2020 we’ll see more people than ever wearing surgical masks and rubber gloves in public, inspired by an outbreak of a severe pneumonia-like illness that attacks both the lungs and the bronchial tubes and is ruthlessly resistant to treatment. This illness will be particularly baffling in that, after causing a winter of absolute panic, it will seem to vanish completely until ten years later, making both its source and its cure that much more mysterious.”
Will the coronavirus disappear for 10 years?
There are always going to be naysayers when it comes to psychic abilities. Some will always be skeptical and say psychic predictions are nothing more than lucky guesses. However, Browne’s prediction is so specific that it gives the year. And who can deny that her description of the illness is similar to the COVID-19 disease that has been moving across the world.
While I saw one cynical web site say that COVID-19 is mild in most people so there’s no panic, I point to the fact that countries have shut down in order to slow the virus. Critics also say that there are potential treatments, but as of the day I am writing this, no treatment has been proven to treat COVID-19.
While some are trying to discredit Browne, I take a different approach. With Browne being right about the first part of her prediction, I hope that she is also correct about the second part. If she is, the coronavirus will suddenly vanish and we will have 10 years to identify a vaccine and prepare for its re-emergence.
