So you’re looking for a new love in your life or you’re trying to enhance the relationship you already have. How can you give your love life a metaphysical boost? You might think a love spell will help. However, if you want the best and most long-lasting results, make sure you only do an ethical love spell.
Love spells are quite simply rituals that focus your attention on an intention that you have. You intend to make more money? You might do a money spell. You intend to improve your luck? You might do a good luck spell. So if you want to attract more love into your life, a love spell can help you to get that intention out into the Universe.
But how do you make sure you have an ethical love spell? There are a lot of ways that love spells can go wrong and, frankly, do harm. No spell, or intention, should be set that attempts to take away another person’s free will. Rather, we should always intend to improve our lives in ways that are good for all parties involved.
When it comes to love, it can be tempting to create a love spell or set an intention for a particular person to stay with us forever. But is that really fair? How would you honestly feel if someone you weren’t attracted to or didn’t like did a love spell that took away your free will and made you stay with that person forever?
There are also other things that can go wrong when you do a love spell. What if you did a love spell on someone and they fell in love with you and then they turned out to be a psycho killer? Or what if you did a love spell on someone and they fell in love with you, but then you fell in love with someone else? As you can see, there are plenty of ways that a love spell can come back to haunt you if you go about it in a way that takes away the free will of someone else.
So what does that mean for any love spells that you do? Instead of focusing on another person, focus the love spell on yourself.
Create a ritual that means something to you. You might get a red candle and burn it down. Red symbolizes love, and as the flame burns your intention is going into the Universe.
Another ritual might be writing down your intention the night of the new moon. There really are no rules as long as the ritual means something for you.
The heart of the love spell is the intention. Here are some intentions you might set:
Set the intention to be open for love or set the intention to be more attractive to potential suitors. You might even set the intention or do a spell to attract the RIGHT person into your life. If you’re already in a relationship, set the intention to create the best relationship possible for both parties. Or set the intention to create an ideal romantic relationship and be willing to allow the Universe to facilitate a breakup. Think about it – the ideal romantic relationship may be with someone who is not in the picture yet.
Which brings up another point. If you do a love spell and then see that your current relationship get worse, that doesn’t mean the love spell isn’t working. If you ask for the ideal relationship, you have to be prepared for the possibility that the ideal relationship is one that you are not yet in. If that is the case, the Universe will facilitate experiences that will free you from your current relationship so you can be with the person who is ideally suited for you.
In all cases, don’t designate who that right person should be. Instead, leave that piece of information to the Universe. Even if you have someone in mind who you would like the love spell to work for, trust that if that person is the right one for you, it will work for them. However, if that person is not the right one for you, the love spell will work for the one who is.
