Most likely you’ve heard of the recent headline-grabbing news from the sky. First a meteor soared through the skies in the Russian region of Chelyabinsk on Friday, injuring more than 1,000 people and blowing out windows across the area. The terrifying event left many people fearing for their lives and wondering if it was the end of the world.
Then, less than 24 hours later, an asteroid called space rock 2012 DA14 came within about 17,000 miles of Earth — coming closer to the planet than some of our satellites!
If that wasn’t enough activity from the skies, residents of San Francisco hours later reported seeing an unusual flash of light over the San Francisco Bay. What they saw, according to experts, was what they call a sporadic meteor or fireball, and alas, experts went on to say that the San Francisco incident was not a major event.
Maybe not, but when all of these incidents happen one after another it does raise eyebrows. And interestingly enough some of the meteor activity may have been predicted. The STARpod USA Network, an organization that covers news about psychic activity, reminded readers this week about a report that had been issued back in 2008 by The Arlington Institute, which is a global think-tank and research firm. The report is titled ‘potential disruptive event’ and it describes future incidents of destruction ranging from earthquakes to tsunamis to meteorite hits. However, all of the information in the report was gleaned by psychics or precognitive dreams that people had.
On the subject of a meteorite, one prediction read:
Watching a televised newscast of multiple catastrophic meteorite hits. Although I had the impression the I was watching a newscast, I was simultaneously viewing the impacts from above. There were four impacts in the continental US, one right after the other in rapid succession (within seconds of each other). The impacts occurred from west to east, with the first impact being in Washington state. The next three hits occurred in Wyoming, Wisconsin, and Washington, DC.
The entire report is fascinating, and it’s interesting to see some of the other things predicted that seem to have come true. For example, one prediction reads:
Major flooding of NYC. All of town inundated
Yet another one reads:
Large storm approaching NYC – was going to be a big hit. Was preceded by thunderstorms.
Sounds a little like Hurricane Sandy to me.
