Have you ever heard of the water experiment with words conducted by Dr. Masuru Emoto?
Dr. Emoto was a Japanese scientist whose work had to do with the power that our thoughts and words have over our reality. Through his experiments he found that when water has negative intentions and words directed at it, the water molecules become disconnected and unpleasing to the eye. On the other hand, when water has positive intentions and words directed at it, the water molecules unite and become aesthetically pleasing. Think about that. It’s as if the water could literally feel the negativity or positivity and reacted to it.
Now consider the fact that as much as 60% of our bodies are made up of water. We know through Dr. Emoto’s water experiment with words that water responds to positivity and negativity. Doesn’t it stand to reason that the water in our bodies also can literally feel the negativity or positivity that is directed at us, and react accordingly?
The damaging effect of negativity
This concept can also help to explain what happens when someone is the victim of a psychic attack. At its most basic level, a psychic attack is a dose of negative energy that is directed at someone. It can be deliberate or it can be unintended, such as when someone has negative thoughts or intentions directed to another person. If the water in your body can detect and respond to negative thoughts and intentions, those thoughts and intentions can affect your body on a molecular level.
But on the other hand, we can also use this knowledge to our advantage. If we send our bodies loving thoughts, we can offset negativity and create a more nurturing environment that may even promote healing. (Note: I am not a doctor and this blog does not promote or provide medical advice. )
We can also take this concept a step further with a ritual. I am always very careful to set intentions around eating. For example, since my surgery, my body has had to learn how to absorb the nutrients and vitamins in my food. So whenever I eat, I visualize my body being satisfied with the food and absorbing those nutrients and vitamins. What if we can also shower the water we drink with positive affirmations that we would like our body to absorb and respond to?
An affirmation ritual based on the water experiment with words
To do this ritual, all you need is a glass or bottle of water. Before you drink the water, speak the affirmation into it that you would like to incorporate into your life. For example, if you want to attract love into your life, speak that affirmation in present tense into the water. You might say ,”I attract love into my life.” Once you speak the words into the water, drink the water.
I suggest working with one affirmation at a time when doing this exercise. That way your focus isn’t divided, and you’ll have a chance to see if you notice results.
