When you pay attention, you’ll notice that the Universe gives you messages all the time. One way the Universe communicates with you is through numbers. Numerology is the study of the occult meaning of different numbers. Certain numbers have special significance. For example, the number one might represent new beginnings, while the number seven is often believed to represent completion. However, you don’t need to be an expert in numerology to figure out what various numbers are trying to tell you, and your intuition may give you unique meanings to the numbers that show up in your life.
Here are some signs that a number is trying to get your attention:
You see it multiple times. Whenever you see anything multiple times, that is a sign of synchronicity. The same holds true when you see a particular number over and over again. Do you keep looking at the clock at exactly the 15th minute after the hour? Pay attention. Have you seen multiple license plates that end in the number 27? The Universe could be trying to get your attention.
It’s a number that has special significance. Sometimes you might notice a number that has a special significance to you. Perhaps you see the numerical sequence that made up the address of your childhood home? Maybe you notice the birthday of your mother or sibling. Sometimes when Spirits have crossed over, they use numbers to get your attention to say ‘hi.’ For example, if you notice a deceased loved one’s birthdate, that might be their way of getting your attention.
It’s a number or sequence that repeats itself. Do you see the same number in a sequence? For example, do you see 111? 777? 131313? Again, repetition is one of the ways that our intuition speaks to us. A repetitive number is, again, something to pay attention to.
The number shows up in similar circumstances. Sometimes you might notice a particular number whenever you’re around a certain person, or whenever you show up at a certain place. In that case, the number may be giving you some insight into that person or that situation.
What you should do if a number gets your attention
When you notice that a particular number is trying to get your attention, what should you do? First note if you have any instant impressions. Sometimes, you might just know what the number is trying to tell you. Trust your intuition or your gut instinct in this case.
If you’re not sure of what the message is, write down the number so you remember it. In fact, it may be a good idea to keep a psychic journal to record anything that has significance for you throughout the day.
