You may be called into a position of leadership where you will need to call on your Emperor energy to inspire those around you. It doesn’t matter if you’re a man or a woman; the Emperor calls on you to embrace your yang energy for the tasks ahead.
However, the Emperor does come with its warnings. Look out for situations in which you may be too controlling or unwilling to listen to the feedback of others. A good leader is not a dictator so when seeking to exert control, make sure you rule with heart.

Just as the Emperor’s energy can touch your personal life, look for it to be evident in the world around you. Since the Emperor is the tarot card of 2020, the spotlight this year is on world leaders and power structures.
On a global level, some tarot card readers suggest that the Emperor signifies Donald Trump. Trump is a world leader in a position of authority whose actions have impacted every portion of the world. He is polarizing, meaning he’s widely despised, yet he is adored by his base.
There are no two ways to look at it: 2020 will be a decisive year for Trump. He has been impeached and is currently facing a Senate trial. Even if nothing comes of it, the American presidential election will take place in 2020 so Trump will either win four more years or be removed from power.
