One of the unfortunate truths about psychic abilities is that though we are all born with them, many of us are taught by our parents and other well-meaning adults to discount our intuitive natures. However, more people are recognizing the fact that they have psychic children and are taking efforts to ensure that their psychic children have the resources they need to strengthen their intuitive gifts and make the most of them.
In fact, many parents are beginning to recognize the fact that imaginary friends may not be so imaginary. Often children are able to ‘see’ spirits and other supernatural entities, but because their parents and older siblings do not, the children are told that what they are experiencing does not exist.

Parents who encourage their children to explore their intuitive natures raise adults who are not afraid to trust their guts. Children who trust their intuition also benefit from understanding how their intuition works when they’re older. With that knowledge, they are better able to make decisions since they can consider both external and internal factors.
