One of the best things about developing your psychic abilities is that they can help you discern if someone is lying to you or not. People have spent a lot of money and plenty of time researching behavioral clues that can indicate that someone is lying. For example, you may have heard that if someone shifts their eyes a certain way or if their voice takes on a higher pitch, they are lying. However, you can often gauge whether someone is being truthful internally just by the way that you feel.
When it comes to psychic ability, it’s really kind of simple. You tend to feel good around people who are truthful and uneasy around those who are not. It’s important to note that I’m not talking about feeling good in an ego sort of way, such as when someone says something that you want to hear. I’m talking about feeling safe and comfortable around a person and knowing that you can instinctively trust them.
Pay attention to how you feel around people that you trust. Think of the people who you know are real with you and notice how you physically feel when you are in their presence. Chances are you feel comfortable, loose, refreshed, and safe. You likely feel relaxed.
Now think about when you were around someone and did not feel that way. Your body was literally telling you that this was not a person that could be trusted.
While everyone’s intuition speaks to them in its own way, here are some possible indicators that someone is not being truthful to you and can’t be trusted. If you experience one or more of these feelings when you are around a particular person, pay close attention to what’s going on.
Your body tightens up.
Your breathing becomes more shallow or you feel like you cannot breathe.
You literally feel pains in your belly or your gut.
You feel overwhelmingly fatigued or tired.
You feel nervous or have a strong desire to get away from the person.
You feel unsafe or unwilling to share.
It is possible to pick up on someone’s negative energy if they are in a bad mood, so you can experience one of these feelings around someone once and never again. In fact, even someone that is normally truthful can lie to you, and you’ll be able to feel the difference in the interaction.
