Update: The report that there was a death hoax the day before was false. May Paul Walker Rest in Peace.
News broke on November 30, 2013 that actor Paul Walker, of Fast and the Furious fame, had died in car crash and explosion at the age of 40.
According to celebrity Web site TMZ, Walker died after being involved in a single-car accident and explosion in Southern California on Saturday afternoon. He and another person were in a Porsche, and the driver lost control of the car, and the car ended up crashing into a tree. Amidst early reports of the incident, it was not known who was driving at the time.
It is always startling when someone dies at a young age and unexpectedly, but the Paul Walker story is even more startling when you consider the fact that reportedly there was a hoax the day before saying that Paul Walker had died and he had not in fact died at that time. Internet death hoaxes are not unusual, but for one to occur the day before an actual death is more than a little creepy.
There are other stories of celebrity deaths in which a person died following premonitions or mentions of death. Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, of the 90s Girl Group TLC was killed in a car crash in 2002 after being involved in a fatal accident and wondering if she was the person who death had been stalking at the time.
